Velvet Lamination

Velvet lamination adds a soft, suede-like texture that enhances colors and exudes premium quality. It isn't just a coating--it's a sensory experience, giving your prints a plush, high-end feel that's impossible to ignore.

Matte Lamination

Matte finishing offers a soft, non-reflective surface that reduces glare and fingerprints while adding a sleek, durable, and elegant touch to your prints.

Submit files in 300 DPI for sharp prints. Use vector formats (AI, EPS, PDF) for foil and Spot UV.
Keep important elements(logos, texts) atleast 3-5mm away from edges to prevent cutting issues.
Avoid thin lines or small text and intricate designs for foiling and Spot UV. Use solid shapes instead of gradients for best results.
Use CMYK for regular printing and Pantone for metallics.
Convert text to outlines and expand strokes in vector designs to prevent printing errors.

1. What is the difference between Foiling and Spot UV? Foiling adds a metallic or pigmented finish to specific design elements using heat and pressure. 2. What materials work best for Foiling and Spot UV? Both techniques work best on smooth, coated paper stocks (matte or velvet). 3. Can I combine Foiling and Spot UV in one design?Absolutely! You can use Foiling for metallic accents and Spot UV for glossy highlights to create a premium, multi-textured effect. 4. How do I set up my file for Foiling or Spot UV? - Create a separate vector layer for each effect. - Use 100% black (K:100%) to mark the Foil or Spot UV areas and label them clearly. 5. What is the minimum size for fine details? - Foiling: Minimum 1mm line thickness and 8-10 pt font size for best results. - Spot UV: Minimum 1mm thickness to ensure clarity and avoid smudging. 6. Does Foiling or Spot UV affect readability? - Spot UV on text should be used with caution, as it may become hard to read depending on lighting. - Foiling is crisp and clear but works best on bold fonts and solid areas rather than fine details. 7. Will Foiling or Spot UV wear off over time?These finishes are durable, but for products that experience frequent handling (e.g., business cards), we recommend lamination for extra protection. 8. Can I use gradients with Foiling or Spot UV? No, both effects work best with solid shapes. Gradients won't translate well, as foiling is a flat application and Spot UV is either fully on or off.
