How to wash a face mask?
- Wash your face mask with hot water of at least 60 degrees Celsius and with regular detergent to kill off any infectious particles
- Keep your mask out to dry immediately. Do not use the mask unless it is completely dry
- Wash your face mask after each use
How to put on a face mask?
- Sanitize or wash your hands with soap and water before touching the mask
- Hold both elastic bands with your hands, raise the mask to nose level and secure the elastic bands behind each of your ears
- Make adjustments to the position of the mask so that they properly cover your mouth, chin and nose.
- Pinch the top of the mask to make it fit your nose better
How to remove a face mask?
- Sanitize or wash your hands with soap and water before touching the mask
- Touch only the elastic bands and not the mask itself, as it may possess contaminants
- Lift the elastic bands from behind your ear to remove the mask from your face
- Sanitize or wash your hands again with soap and water
