What is a RFQ?

From now onwards, customers will be able to directly place Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to you via our website. And you will be able to contact them and close the transaction, with our uniquely tailored interface available to help you along in every step of the process.

Will this affect the direct orders I am getting via Rate cards now?

No. This RFQs platform is independent of the ready to buy rate cards you have uploaded on the website so far. You will continue to get direct orders via those rate cards. No change there.

So, where is it applicable then?

RFQs will be applicable only for bulk quantities or particular specs - where you might not have uploaded ready to buy rate cards. Until now customers had no option for contacting you to fulfil those needs. This platform fills that gap. Contact our support team to know what qualifies as a bulk quantity for each category.

How will the customers contact me?

Customers will now be able to call you directly when they place requests for quotations. We restrict calling hours to remain within 8 AM - 8 PM. You will be able to modify this in your dashboard. You will also be able to set your preferred number for getting contacted. Approach your account manager at Inkmonk for more details.

Can I contact the customers who place RFQs?

Yes you can. You will be provided with a detailed tracking page for every RFQ in your dashboard. You will be able to call buyers directly via our interface.

What are the charges?

We consider every Request for Quotation we pass on to you as a lead and charge a lead fee for the same. This lead fee is determined automatically by our unique proprietary algorithm which uses a variety of parameters to estimate the value and quality of the lead reliably and arrive at a fair lead cost.

Is there any other commission for closing the lead via platform?

No. We charge you the lead fee upfront and from then on you can use our facilities for free to track and close the deal.

Why should I close the lead online?

  • Because it is free ( check previous point. No commission after lead fees)
  • Because it makes your processes much easier (You can ask us for any improvements to the interface.)
  • Because you have already paid for it (By paying the lead fee)
  • Because it helps us give you better leads (Our system will understand what kind of leads close better and send you such leads)
  • Because it makes your customer happy.

How will the charges be deducted?

The above mentioned lead cost will be automatically deducted from the credit balance in your account. This credit balance is maintained completely independent from your settlements for online orders. You can choose to recharge this credit balance whenever you want just like you would do a mobile topup.

What happens if my account balance drops to zero?

You will stop getting RFQs. That is all. There will not be any other effect. You can still continue to process direct online orders as usual.

So, should I pay to start getting RFQs?
